First off I am sorry I am so lazy. Im really going to get my butt in gear and post often again. The last 10 or so days that Thomas has been home I feel like we have been busy. Sometimes we have, mostly not so much though.

Anyway, my crazy bird lady attitude has paid off. And Melissa hates me for it. I went to take Sadie outside yesterday and saw a bright red flash up in the tree. I figured it was a cardinal since there is at least 1 pair of them around my yard regularly but when it flew I knew it wasnt. I ran in to grab the camera and guess what…

I’m pretty sure I have a scarlet tanager. Also that would explain that bright yellow bird I kept seeing…

Also…for my success. The day I decide to move my suet feeders because nothing but roaches and the little wren who now eats in the front mostly would touch it and the day I am ready to move the bird bath to the front where all the action is I go out to see this…

An ugly little baby blue bird hangin out on the bird bath.

I win. Hopefully now the little baby blue birds that are in my back yard will decide they like the nesting box I hung out there when they are big enough to want one 🙂
