A Week In The Life – Day 6

640 – Another early-ish morning. At least Layla waited until a little closer to 7 to wake up. I let dogs out and start coffee.

800 – Layla is up and dressed. She has pop tarts for breakfast and I have an egg with toast. At this point I haven’t taken any pictures. Slow morning and I’m a slacker.

830 – Im dressed and ready to Shred! Back to Level 1 today. Of course I couldn’t start until coming to a compromise with Layla who NEEEEEEDED to be with me and needed me to play doll house and was very whiney. She decided it was ok to side on the floor by me and color while I exercised.

900 – I guess at some point I said “I’ll play after I exercise” and Layla remembered. I played doll house with her for a bit before running away to shower the stink off.

10 – In an attempt to eat all the fruit I bought before it goes bad I cut up an apple for Layla and I. Then I scooped WAY too much peanut butter into a little bowl to dip the apples in. I always scoop too much. Good thing I didn’t get the bigger bowl.

1130 – After apples and mini muffins Layla isn’t hungry. Shocking. So I was dishes before lunch.

1200 – Layla and I eat a fast lunch. She chose the bone shaped cutter for her sammich.

After eating I go to my favorite spot while the dogs are outside

1230 – Melissa comes to pick us up for our Dothan trip. First stop was the shoe store and then Target.

After Target we headed over to Kohls to see what they had on sale. I made Melissa push the girls. She goes to the gym…she can use her muscles.

The girls got some little princess dolls with rubber clothes like Polly Pocket. EG lost Jasmine’s shoe and had a small meltdown but got over it. Layla was sad that Ariel didn’t come with shoes. Just a tail.

3somethin’ – We leave the Target shopping center and I remember that we had stopped on post before leaving for Dothan to get gas and pick up a blue card showing that L has her shots for school. So I took a picture.

345ish – Stop at Walmart in Ozark for a couple things which let me get cash out for tomorrow. Thomo has his WOCS carwash tomorrow!

500 – Layla and I get home. She runs off to her room to play with her new mermaid toy and her pokemon toys while I sit and relax for a bit checkin out the Internet rounds before fixing us some dinner.

800 – Layla is in bed. All is quiet. I am watching Parenthood and laughing a LOT.
