I’m sorry Trish. You thought Friday was rushed, I didn’t even get to Saturday on time! And I for sure didn’t write out a timeline like I usually do. It started out as an early morning.
Up and fed before 8am. Then I tossed Layla into the tub while I went on to Cardio Max.
After finishing up I went to wash L’s hair and get her out of the tub so I could take a shower.
Then it was time to put on my fabulous new shirt that Melissa made me buy. I’m glad she did π
After we were all dressed and ready it was snack time. We like to smell Jello before we eat it in this house.
Around 11 I headed over to Melissa’s house to pick her up. We were heading to get the ‘hoe washed by T and his class. She managed to escape with no kids thanks to a friendly neighbor who invited them over to play!
T was aaaallllllll the way at the end so we couldn’t find him at first.
But we finally came up to him and he washed my windows π And the one picture I took is of him blinking of course.
It was really good seeing him but after the hoe was washed we had to run to get lunch to kids before taking M’s oldest to a birthday party. So we stopped for some $5 pizzas. Look at that hoe SHINE in the window!
After eating the small girls ran upstairs to play while Abigail was driven to her party down the road. Then I ran home to let the dogs out and pick up Preston’s bday present since his party was in just a couple hours
We showed up at the Dean House to find Mr Pete adding the finishing touches to his masterpiece, the Thomas cake.
I always love going over to their house. This day was particularly special because April’s parents were in town to celebrate and see their grandbabies! Preston was over the moon excited having his grampa there. And of course seeing the baby again is always a happy occasion!
Elizabeth REALLY liked the baby too. Maybe because she is so tiny. She was really jealous of Other Melissa’s boy, Alek while her mom was holding him but loved every bit of this baby. Even when Melissa was holding her.
There were lots of friends and lots of kids. And LOTS of fun
Then EG was giving Mr Pete her ‘blinking eyes’…batting her eyelashes. Not sure what for. Cake maybe? Cake would make me blink my eyes.
Time to sing to Preston! And work hard at keeping fingers out of cake.
And the cake was good. Really good.
It was a super fun party. Layla and I had a great time!
And that was the week! See the whole thing HERE
Looks like fun, love the shirt! π
