Happy Quilt Is My Happy Place

Our stuff is here! Have I mentioned that yet 😀

Anywho, that means my sewing machine is here which means I needed to get back to Happy Quilt…

and Niki is suddenly a sewing FREAK and needed a lot of fabric for a million projects…

so back we went.

With my camera 😉

But first a few Pyeongtaek shots.

Pyeongtaek is about 5-10 minutes away? It’s the ‘big’ city by us.

The Mililani to our Wahiawa if you’re one of my Hawaii friends.

The Eprise to Rucker’s Daleville for my Alabama friends.

We live in Anjung-ri (did I spell that right?) which is the little town right outside of base.

Anywho, I dont know if Happy Quilt is in Pyeongtaek or not but I DO know how to get there without directions now and that’s what matters.

So much fabric.

Mostly cotton.

Mostly cut and pre packaged and ready to go.

There are big rolls too

We found flannel…but no jersey.

So if you’re in Korea and you know where they hide it let me know!

And of course no trip to Happy Quilt would be complete without 2 toddlers running wild 😐

Thankfully they’re not destructive…just active 🙂 And super cute.

Until they are done and Timmy tries to let them both out of the front door.

Anywho, I ended up getting the quilt pack with the cars.

And omg Im so over cutting squares already.

There are 24 different fabrics. Well, 8 I guess but each came in 3 different colors if that makes any sense.

One day I’ll finish cutting and actually get to sew!

Oh…and finally a shot of traffic heading home :-/

**Directions**

From Camp Humphreys main gate:

Go straight down main road until the road Ts and take a left

Take a left a the next light onto 45.

Exit onto 38 to the right after you go under the underpass (You want to be going away from Lotte Mart)

 Stay on this road for a few miles. You will see signs for 45.

Exit to the right onto 45. You should see a hospital right after u get on.

Exit to the right when u see Emart. Stay in the right lane.

Right after you exit you should see a bridge on the right that goes over the train tracks.

Once you go over this bridge you will see signs for Happy Quilt.
