Puppies, Babies,Awards, and Patio

Well this weekend and the start of this week has been pretty exciting. Lets go back to friday when the newest member of our family was born. He’s still nameless and was a surprise up until I mailed the deposit on monday. We have a list of aviation or golf or jeep or movie related names to pick from and we still cant choose.

Our list of names so far is:
Hangar
Bunker
CJ
Chopper
Revo
Axel
Falkor

What do YOU think should be the name of our new german shepherd pup?

(And actually Im not sure if THIS is him or not…she sent me a pic of the black and tan and a sable so I could pick the color. So if its not him, it looks like him 😉 )

On with our weekend. Saturday we had lunch, bought new books, and watched Kung Fu Panda. SO cute.

Sunday, Father’s Day, was dinner at the Somers casa with some Phase 10. Good times 🙂 Im going to miss our friends!

Monday, Patio came in! Patio (Patricia) is Thomas’ mom. She will be here for a week to hang out with us before we clear housing and move.

Also, Monday was Layla’s first sleep over at our house and for VERY good reasons!
Good morning Sunshines 🙂

Isnt she TOO stinkin SWEET?! I just wanna squish her. In a not harmful way.

Tuesday, Thomas had to go in for a little award ceremony to get his thanks for being in the unit award or whatever it is.

And this is Patio and Layla waiting for this shindig to be over so we can go play with The pup.

While we were there it was hella hot but we stuck around to get in some good quality time with Rik and because I refuse to leave this island without a good picture of Thomas with him. Here’s where the picture overload really begins.

When we finished playing with Rik we headed back to the car but Thomas got caught up talking to people. I found some bugs so it was ok other than the fact it was still hella hot.

We finally got out of there and grabbed some lunch at the PX before heading across the parking lot to the commisary to buy some food for the week. I guess Tuesday was a busy day for Layla because my non napping child passed out in her airplane cart.

Thats all of the excitment so far. Today we are determined to find the ocean.
