Gunpowder and Lead - It's Me, Megan

I have had that song stuck in my head all day. It was on in the car three times while I was driving to or from some where or another.

Today had to be a good day to make up for the heart ache Layla went through after leaving Bunker Boy at the vet yesterday. We woke up thismorning and had some breakfast. Waffles for her, bagel for me. So healthy. Then we hit up the Enterprise Public Library for story time (Every wednesday at 1015!) It was a lot of fun even though she played “shy” and sat in my lap groaning and hiding her face at anyone that asked her what her name was. By the end though she was on the floor listening and then coloring the coloring sheet that was handed out with the other kids.

From there we headed to Walmart for a couple needed items and to check out frames. Nothing to pass for a 10×20 darn it!

When we got home we had some lunch and I was texting away to Jessica, a mom I met on myspace. Her son is Layla’s new birthday twin! Same year and everything. I was excited by that. So since we werent able to meet up for story time we ended up taking them bowling on post. That place is FREEZING. After that Layla and I headed to the PX to look for something that I dont even remember now and walked out with a bottled starbucks frap and a Veggie Tales book.

Home for oven pizza and lots of play time. We hung out outside for a bit while Sadie chased the squirrel scents around the yard. I even let Layla take a picture

And this is it. I think she has a real artistic eye 😉

And then the randomness that is me sitting in the backyard calling to the dog that doesnt listen…

And I love this grass. It lines the back patio/bricks and the front along the driveway. Its really thick and has this little purple flowers that spout out of it

Layla says *bang bang bang* “WAKE UP SQUIRRELS!”

I love bricks. And how many photos do I need of Layla kicking the cars ball? I think 573 is enough. And did I mention we had to buy that ball because Cody has a “Muh Queen” ball too?

Ah, I hate when this happens. She does things to make me cranky but I tell her not to move until I take the pic, then yell that shes still doing it 😛 She was spinning around with the wire turning around her neck. NOT so smart. But DONT unhook it until I get a pic! Now get it off of your shirt before it rips!

And Sadie just wants a squirrel.
