Layla and I woke up thismorning and ate some breaky before heading out to the big park a few blocks away. I still dont remember the name of it, but its fun. Im just kicking myself for not bringing bread for the ducks/fish. Oh well, we will be back soon.
First off we hit the giant playground. Theres TONS of playground there. We love it 🙂 This statue is right in the middle surrounded by chairs. It kind of creeps me out.
Layla’s first stop was the cheese wall.
Poor kid. Elmo isnt a good rocker.
There is a walking path all around the park. You can go around the pond or across this cute little bridge. I love it.
Another family was smarter than we were. They brought bread which made a few little ducks head over. Layla told me she wanted to be a duck so she could swim in the water.
Gooses, Geeses, I want my geese to lay gold eggs for easter…
I told Layla not to get TOO close and she asked “Why? Will they poop on me? And I will be all dirty?” Yes Layla, that is EXACTLY why. Sometimes I think she should have been a boy.
After the park we hit up Winn Dixie and then home. Did I tell yall about the bird feeder we bought the other day? Either way…so much for BIRD feeder.
Also, thismorning when Sadie made me go outside at 6am so she could sprint laps around the yard trying to figure where all the squirrles had gone we found something else. A box turtle! It was really cute and took all I had in me not to bring him in and stick him in the empty fish tank. I figured the back yard was a better home for him. I did give him a banana though. He loved me for it. I took a photo with my phone since thats all I had on me at 6am besides the banana I came back in for but it wont send to my email. If it ever does I will post it. If not, now you know we had a turtle in our yard and he was cute.

That’s Henderson Park. I love that park! We had Makayla’s 18 month pics taken there by the pond. Love the airplane rocker. That wasn’t there when we left.
