She Makes Her Own Rules

Layla has her own special way of playing with the Twister mat. She has to cross each row of dots a different way. Lets see if I remember what each color means…red is ants. She either jumps over them or stomps on them to get across. Blue is water and she “swims”, yellow dots are stars that she flies through, and the green is a jungle that she “swings” through while screaming like Tarzan. I spin the “clock” and tell her while color she needs to cross.

Last night I tried showing her the real way to play.

She did it for about 5 minutes before telling me she didn’t need to play that way, she needed to cross them.

And then we were outside. Random tidbits from our yard while Sadie figures out where she needs to squat.
