I am slowly becoming obsessed with birds. Started with the humming bird feeders…then I stuck a regular seed feeder in the back…now I have my little bird sanctuary sprouting up in the front yard.
This morning I took the dogs out at about 630 and noticed that guy behind me that has the empty feeders and about 100 bird houses actually has about 1000 birds all over his yard. I just stared at them all. So many different types! You know what that means now. I NEED bird houses. No ifs ands or buts. Also I need some kind of running water feature for out front.
My goal is to get a blue bird to come into my porch. They’re all out in the front yard but they wont come any closer.
The humming birds though…they will dive bomb my head if I’m out there when they are ready to eat. They are mean.
I’m trying to figure out the names for the birds I have out there. I have figured out a few thanks to Mel’s bird book and Google but they brown ones just all look the same to me lol

I have another of some really neat bird with blue wings and brown on his belly. No clue what it is either. I have to crop it down in photoshop though because its sort of far away. I planned to load it to Flickr and edit in Picnik but its being hateful right now and wont open my photos. I’ll be back later with that one 🙂

after seein your hummingbird pics though i want a feeder, shoot maybe my hanging things for plants will find a new use since i cant keep plants/flowers alive LMAO !!!!
