Lizards and Bee Stings

The past couple of days have seemed pretty busy. Here’s a quick update…

One day there was a pair of lizards on the wall outside. I like to call them dinosaurs because theyre not like the Hawaiian geccos Im used to.

They do the crazy neck thing

They dont like it when you stare at them and stick a camera in their face

They flip around and say

Then we went to have lunch with Rocky 1 and 2.

And tonight was dinner with Melissa’s fam bam. Elizabeth had a run in with the wrong end of a bee while digging in some sand with Layla. Some allergy meds and baking soda later she’s good to go

The bee on the other hand…not so good to go. Dumb little bug. Now he’s waiting to be some nice bird’s lunch

And of course a few minutes later everything was almost back to new and the kids are back in the dirt.

PS- Layla needs some beach. Her poor back glows in the dark.

  1. I think, and may be wrong, that when the geckos get that funky thing going on with their neck it means they’re ready to mate. We had a few like that once in a while in our house, and I remember looking it up. Awesome pictures, as usual! 🙂

  2. Those lizard pics are gorgeous! I might need some help finding places to take my little guy. He was so bored up there this weekend. I appreciate any help! We actually were supposed to rent a house with Judy (and she is awesome!) but another agent had rented it literally 5 minutes before we got there! She was sweet and showed us other homes, but we didn’t like them very much. We are going with the people right next door Coldwell Banker.

  3. The house is in New Brockton which is probably about 10 minutes from where you are. I’m not exactly sure how to get there yet, but I know that you can take Boll (sp?) Weevil to get to it. Isn’t that the road the Piggle Wiggly is off of?
