As we were walking into the festival we hear music. Its a live band. Their name is JOE…Jesus Owns Everything.
Look, they decorated the Bug statue 🙂
Abigail showin some sass over something
puppet things? They had Bama shirts on
Showin off her ink. Abigail got a dolphin. Layla was going to get a dolphin too but when it was her turn to go up to the lady she had a spazz attack and wouldnt talk to anyone.
College football and church birdhouses/feeders. We’re fo sho in the south. Ive never seen anyone so football crazy
Another southern thing I guess…the big ruffly pant/shirt sets. Kids in AZ and HI dont dress like that. With matching hair bows. We did see some overalls with ruffles on the bottom that were cute though 🙂
Some guys playing music on the street. The one drumming on the bucket reminded me of RENT 🙂
I really like this building and think I want my camera every time we drive past it.
And that pretty much sums up the Enterprise Fall Festival.
On our way out to Brundidge for the Peanut Butter Festival we made a pit stop at Subway for lunch. As we pulled into the parking spot Melissa says “I know that guy from somewhere” and points at the guy walking out of Subway toward his car. I think “Yeah, its a small town, you talk about knowing everyone…” then she starts screaming. I guess its a guy from Biggest Loser. LOL Ive watched one season but dont remember the people or the names but I started snapping pics at her request 🙂
After lunch we headed out down the 231. There was a sign for the Bama Nut Shop
Then a big metal chicken. Check out the little starburst on his chest 😉
This is before Layla got stuck at the top of the bleachers and screamed
We got to try some home made peanut butter. Layla wasnt impressed. She’s a Jiff girl.
Elizabeth on the other hand scarfed her cracker then went ahead and ate it straight from the cup
The booths here were in the grass, not in the road. I liked it better.
Ooo EG changed her mind about the peanut butter
Abigail sittin in the stands waiting for us to be done
I liked the guy in the overalls and the hat sitting on the hay. Then the other one sat down and caught me taking their picture.
We liked this one better than Enterprise
There was a peanut under a little roof thing.
Some home made peanut brittle for $2
And that was the end. It was a loooong fun day 🙂
I wish I was home so I could’ve gone to the festival yesterday. I always love going!!! And yes, in the south we are crazy about football. LOL
how FUN !!!! i LOVE the small town festivals…sure gonna miss that when we leave this place.
i THOUGHT that dude looked familiar when i saw these pics on your flickr. 😉 walkin out of subway no less …. lol
ugh, makes me miss the good ol’ south. We loved going to festivals when we lived down that way…be sure to check out a Strawberry festival when the season rolls round next summer!
