I’m way excited. It’s my most favorite holiday ever. We found out yesterday that our star wasn’t in working condition when we pulled it out of the box. No problemo! Big lots had decent looking ones on sale. Layla and I headed down there today along with Walgreens and the Walmarts and got a lot to make the house a bit more festive 😀 And smelly! Mmmmm!
The tree skirt came out nice. No more bad animal stench. The only issue with it is that Sadie ate something off of Santa our first Christmas with her. 
So what if I just posted a tree picture last night. There’s a skirt and star now! By the way, this morning when Layla asked what I was holding I told her the tree skirt. Then she told me trees don’t wear skirts. She’s right.
I still need to find a home for the easel until Christmas is done. I’m thinking guest room. It’s where all of the homeless things go.
A couple weeks ago I got Layla this paint your own snowman kit. She’s been begging to do it but I kept making her wait until Thanksgiving was over. She was way excited to do it today. Its been gross and rainy so today was the perfect day for it.

I had a cute orange potpourri basket for fall but now I needed a Christmasy one. Yay Big Lots! And Walmart for the stinky stuff. Also…this book is one of the best things we have taken away from Hawaii. Its so bad and so good. In a bad way.
And of course I had promised L her own tree for a while now. She put the balls on herself 🙂 Too bad I almost knocked down last years Santa picture…
Love Ls snowman!! What book is that? I can’t remember the name of the one we have…I still need to dig thru Christmas stuff.
