Any who, she loved it. I got my picture to frame like I have the past 3 years and she got a card for a free little cookie from the Great American Cookie place in the mall. She picked the one with the M&Ms. Shocking.
Here she is in line waiting for her turn to sit on Santa’s lap. She was letting me see that her shirt said “Jingle Bells”
After walking around the mall a bit and oooo and aahhh-ing over everything in the Hallmark store we headed out for lunch. We tried to think of something small but sit down so we could save room for Starbucks 😛 In the car Thomas said “Look at my catch lights!” So I did. And took a picture.
We settled for Logan’s…steak house? bar and grill? I dunno. But it was big and they had peanut shells all over the floor.
They were out of crayons. Good thing Super Mom had about 5 pens in her suitcase/purse. Too bad they were all black. Layla’s not picky though.
Maybe this wasn’t the best “small lunch” place. Oh well. By the way, see where L gets her gorgeous eyelashes from???
There were buckets of peanuts on all of the tables.
And peanut shells on the floor. But I’ve said that already. T’s mess.
There’s even a big warning sign…
“Caution: Peanuts on the floor and loud music playing”
After lunch we walked around Lowes then hit up Target. We heard there was a fire pit thing on sale for super cheap so we were looking for it. No luck. We did a lap around Target and none of their sale stuff was there either. So we got our Starbucks and hit the road.
I think I’m going to make a photo book of my hand holding SB cups. I wonder how many pictures like this I have already. Too bad this one is out of focus. Good thing I made sure my wrinkly hand was in focus though…psh.
Now fast forward to later tonight. We decided to drive around to look at whatever Christmas lights are up so far. There’s one house on my street that looks like a gingerbread house. I love it. We started around here then hit up Shell Landing (is that right, Melissa?) which is where all the mailboxes have crazy things on top. Then we drove back into Mel’s neighborhood. Thomas didn’t realize how big the houses were back there and that there were all the lakes. This is just a house with a pond but I loved the reflection 🙂 And not even any Xmas lights.
Oh that house is gorgeous. Awesome picture. You should make a copy for them and leave it in their mailbox, ha. And your daughter is cute as always. 🙂
That was my favorite house last year! I could never have gotten a pic that good. I stole yours…..
Love the house pic too!
HA t said look at my catchlights, now THATS a photographers hubby 😉
