Flowers, Rain, And Tee Ball

Yesterday was L’s first day of tee ball so we had to run out and find her some shoes. Thank you Shoe Show for having lots of brand name shoes at crazy low prices! Anywho, since the shoes were hella cheap we ran over to Walmart for some shorts and flowers. After planting them it started to rain. And then tee ball was canceled. And here is a recap of it all.

The new flowers I got to put in a pretty blue and white pot I found on the curb 🙂

Speaking of curb shopping…I got this little table the other day. It needs some paint but I like it.

And speaking of flowers…check this out. Do you know what it is?

It’s my eggplant! My poor little slug infested eggplant. I got slug killer and veggie food for it and I have a bloom!

And speaking of blooms…the hydrangea I stole from Melissa’s driveway that has exploded in the pot I stuck it in is getting little pinky purple petals

After we planted it started raining. L had on her boots, grabbed her umbrella, and was right out enjoying the shower.

I love those boots.

She was trying to catch the rain dripping from the roof. Yum 😐

She got it with her hands but couldn’t find it with her tongue.

And then I asked her to smile for me and show me her eyes. After a lot of eye rolling and no smiles I said “Layla! Smile for me!!” And this is what I get. It lasted all of 2 seconds before she ran off laughing.

Scary.

Then it was tee ball time. Layla was excited to go but when we got there we found out it had been canceled due to the bad weather. It wasn’t even raining then 😛

That didn’t stop us! T brought his glove and played catch with Layla. She’s still working on the catch part.

She ducks out of the way right before the ball gets to her.

She can throw though!
