Last night when we came home from tee ball Thomo and Layla stayed outside to swing golf clubs and hit some balls for a while. I went inside to let the dogs out and found the trash can dumped with half eaten trash alllll over the kitchen. After picking it up and sweeping it up I went to toss the bag in the dumpster when I heard T yell something about a raccoon in the tree. So I grabbed my camera. I got a few pictures of it that didn’t make it to Flickr. What I did decide to do was play with my camera settings and change it to black and white. I’m not sure I have ever done it before. Usually I change everything in photoshop after I load it. Last night I changed it in camera then with the custom settings bumped up the contrast as much as it would go. I really liked it. Not sure the difference between pre or post photoshop but it made me happy.
Layla hasn’t played with her clubs since Hawaii. It has been about a year. I blogged it somewhere. Boy can she whack it now!
I really like black and white pictures. Even when they’re out of focus.
Even the random pictures look “artsy”
Then I noticed the sky looked pretty neat
LOVE IT! I think I need to go out and play with the b&w feature on my camera now. 🙂 I needed some good photo motivation.
Wow! That last picture is amazing! I love how the colors go from blue to orange behind the trees! I am a bit fan of silhouette pictures!
