I am reposting this from a friend’s blog to spread the word about another friend’s new baby. Anyone who is on HMW or Facebook is familiar with their situation but I just wanted to get it out to anyone else who might now. They can use all of the prayers and good thoughts they can get right now. Kelsey is an awesome mom and so sweet. They are a really great family and could use some extra love and support.

Since our humble beginnings in 2004 HMW (HawaiiMilitaryWives.com) has come together, several times, to help one of our own. That time has come once again, if you’re willing and able we need your help!
Curtis and Kelsey Popp welcomed a beautiful baby Boy, Christian Popp on August 23rd, at 6:31am. He weighed 7lbs. 13oz. and 18 inches long. Christian is in dire need of surgery at the Children’s Hospital San Diego. Newborn Baby Christian will be undergoing open heart surgery, and Kelsey is expecting to be in San Diego for at least six weeks. The family will be departing Honolulu, Hawaii sometime tomorrow, Friday August 28th, 2009.
The cost of travel, hotel accommodations, car rental and food costs are going to be astronomical!
