Changes

Today while I was waiting for Thomas and Layla to come back from spending the night in Panama City with friends I decided to snap a few pictures of things that have changed a bit.

First off…it’s that time again! The leaves are starting to change!

As much as I whine about it getting too cold for me in the winter I really do love fall. I like when its cool enough to wear sweaters and shoes but not so cold that you feel like you might die if you go outside.

Another change…we have been telling Layla that she can have the big bed from the guest room so we can make room for baby. It’s her special BIG sister bed! She was so happy about that and we spend a couple of weeks browsing bedding options. She wanted something with butterflies and I wanted something that wasn’t going to break the bank. While she was with Thomo in Florida I took apart her twin day bed and moved the big ol’ queen to her bedroom and set it all up.

She was really excited to see it when she came home and keeps telling me how much she likes her new bed. She needs more pillows. It came with 2 matching shams and her sheets came with 2 purple pillow cases. She only has 1 pillow so we’ll need to take care of that next.

She also reminded me that she was mad at me because I forgot to pack Rik in her Florida bag. Oops.

Oh, also when I was stripping her old bed I found all of this under her pillow. I guess that’s her safe place to keep them while she sleeps.

Here’s another change, sort of. I’m starting to like Revo a bit more 🙂 He has been SO snuggly with me lately. He always is sitting next to me and laying his head in my lap. He’s a really really good dog when he isn’t so spastic and crazy. And a very good protector. He sounds MEAN when he barks at people/animals/plastic bags that go by the fence.

He loves me 🙂
