Since I was in Birmingham cookin a baby for L’s 5th birthday she decided to wait for Timmy and I to be home to have her party. Between going back and forth to UAB the party idea got put on the back burner for a while. Now that we are home Timmy is pretty much quarantined in the house until he is 1. We were told not to take him anywhere with groups of people. There goes her bowling party or pizza place party. One day I was driving her to school and she was telling me all about the bounce house at her school’s family fun day (that I missed!) and how it was her favorite thing ever. After dumping her at school I went to put gas in the car and saw a ton of little signs for www.xtremeplaytime.com and their birthday inflatables. I figured as much as she loved the bounce houses at school we could get one for her and a couple friends and have them all stay outside while TF stayed inside away from gross kid germs. It turned out to be a lot of fun and she had a blast which is what matters 🙂
It was a small party but just what she needed to feel like she had a birthday 😛 After making her wait for everyone to eat and finish cupcakes she finally got to open gifts.
Her gift from us was the scooter with the streamers…she has been “wanting it for years and years!” lol
oh my gosh Layla has gotten so big since you've been in the hospital!! Can't believe she's five.
