Well, we had Timmy home for a whole week! We got home Sunday the 28th and by the next Thursday he had started coughing a little bit. By the time I could get him into the Dr on Monday he was having a really hard time breathing. We went from the clinic on post to the ER in Enterprise by ambulance where they decided he has RSV. Of course there isn’t a nursery that would take him so he was flown by JET back to Birmingham so they could treat him. That was at 6pm and by 7 I was packed and driving back to UAB to be with him.
It is so annoying to have to break up the family again and come back here but if he has to go anywhere to be hospitalized I am happy he is here. They all know him here and know his history and me.
He is doing ok now. Not great but better than he was on Monday. That’s where we are at now. Just waiting for the virus to run its course while the Drs and nurses make sure he is stable and fed and not getting any worse. Hopefully we wont be here too long this time!
Here is a picture from today…happy 1 month to Timmy Fred!
He is 7lb 10oz and 20in long as of Monday!
I'll be thinking about you guys!
