Thomas ran to the store for something earlier in the week and I told him to grab egg coloring stuff. He came home with a Disney Princess kit complete with stickers and glitter. Layla was way excited 🙂
We learned that fancy Crayola twist up crayons do not work on eggs…but the cheap princess crayons do 🙂

On Sunday we woke up to hunt for plastic eggs in the house, eat Easter egg shaped pancakes, dig through the basket, and get dressed before heading outside to find our colored eggs. Of course I didn’t get a picture of any of that. Did I mention that Thomas made the pancakes and coffee while I did lots of baby related things? It was pretty awesome 🙂
Once we were dressed we went out to find more eggs.
And now I realize that all the pictures I have loaded are of the back of her head.
The Easter bunny left her a tiny pony. She has collected 2 so far from the set 😛

This reminds me that last year when she found an egg by this tree I noticed half of a squirrel about 2 feet away : Yuck
She walked right past this one…
Of course the big guy slept through all of the action. Oh well, next year will be more fun 🙂

And finally she finished the circle around the yard just in time to go with Thomas and the neighbors to church and lunch while I stayed home with TF and had an egg salad sammich. That is my favorite part 🙂
