T’s Family Day

Friday was T’s flight school family day. It was the first time that we got to see him fly a helicopter and it was so neat! He had a pretty big crowd out there to be part of the big day. I left Timmy with Melissa so Layla and I could spend time together. As much as I LOVED my Layla time I sure missed that boy a ton!

There were eight of us there to support T…and get some free (for everyone else) lunch. We waited some what patiently for them all to fly in. Of course T was one of the last to come. Layla was looking hard to find the one that said 62C.

While he was flying Layla kept busy picking flowers from under the bleachers

He ripped off his helmet and started talkin to the guys before I could get a picture

I just love this one…Layla off in her own little Layla world skipping and flipping her pig tails 🙂

After we went in for lunch Thomas and Layla checked out a parked helicopter and he told her what everything does

She said learning that was her favorite part of the day

It was a really neat and fun day. We’re so proud of him!
