It’s starting to get nice outside and I want to go out to play SO bad but Layla has been sick for almost a week now. After 4 days of off and on fevers we finally had to go in on Sunday when she was screaming about her ear hurting.
She has strep. STREP. Her throat didn’t even really hurt. Maybe mentioned that once? It was all the ear and the ER doctor didn’t say anything about that after the strep test came back positive. We left with antibiotics and cough syrup.
Today we went to see her Dr for a follow up and she checked her ear. Raging ear infection. On top of the strep! Awesome. Poor Layla! No wonder she has been crying in pain. Since she is already on meds there wasn’t much to do other than load us up on more Motrin and Tylenol.
She has been MUCH better today though only hurting a couple times. No fever since yesterday afternoon! She WILL be at school tomorrow.
Anyway…all of that Layla update to let y’all know that I want to play outside but have been stuck INSIDE thanks to Streppy.
So here is what I found when I loaded pics tonight.

I love these dang birds. And I have a couple. A boy and a girl. The picture of them *BOTH* is on my phone because of course I never have the camera near me when I want it.
After shooting the birds I turned around to see Timmy (who Layla has nick named Bumpy) reading his books. He loooooves his books 🙂
Saturday Layla seemed to be doing a ton better so we ran to Dothan with Melissa and Elizabeth to look for sandals. After going through a few stores L’s headache was back along with her fever. She felt SO bad and so did I 🙁

Today after the Dr and after coming home for lunch we made a run to Walmart to get dinner stuff and a new fish tank. I thought about trying to salvage the old tank but even if I scrubbed all the white build up off of the sides I would still need a new hood and pump and rocks and everything else. I wouldn’t have saved anything really so I just went new.
Layla was more excited about the box 😐
She had me cut holes in it to see out of like a submarine. I have a feeling she thought she was a lot smaller than she really is (46lb and 46″ by the way)
She wrote a song on the inside of a flap 😛 and Timmy just wanted to play with the cut out circles.
My little freak
This made me laugh. I gave Timmy a chunk of poptart and he went and plopped down in front of Revo to eat it. Watching tv the whole time.
Revo couldn’t stop watching the poptart.
Then Timmy dropped some.
It was too much. As soon as Timmy was back to his show Revo went for it. Sneak attack!
And I’m awesome enough to just take pictures instead of stop him.
That’s all from the camera. Tomorrow Layla is back at school! Wednesday Timmy *finally* has his 12 month well baby appt and shots. And I don’t even know what else is going on this week. Something about Thursday/Friday sounds familiar but I can’t think why. This weekend we should have some fun GirlSout stuff to do so I will get pictures of that too 🙂
