Pictures are loaded to Flickr and I don’t want to actually blog them now. What’s new?
Sunday was the big Girl Scouts Thinking Day in Elba. We heard it was going to be HUGE and to plan for 400 people if we wanted to have a table. There were not 400 people there.
We didnt have our own table but went to have the experience and know what to expect for next year.
I got a couple pictures while we waited at Lowes for the other car that I was going to follow out there.
Happy Timmy!
Saaaad Timmy!
Some of our girls when we first got there
They walked around to different tables paying knickles for food and a swap. Girl Scout swaps are just little crafty collectable pins or magnets. Each table represented a different state so the swaps and snacks had to go along with that state. There were some fun tables!
They also had a pasport that got stamped at each table
Last but not least we got to the HI table. Layla made sure to tell the woman there that she comes from Hawaii and was born in Honolulu.
When the whole shabang was over we got the heck out of Elba and went for ice cream at the DQ in Enterprise.
It was a mostly fun day and Layla loved it!
We ran to Walmart the other day for a few things and I saw this shirt. It’s a 2T but I grabbed it anyway and Im glad I did. How stinking CUTE is it?!
My block head
And finally a quick sneak peek at some springy things. I need to get out and take pictures of all of our blooms. They make me happy 🙂
The lizards are out in full force
And my blueberries are flowering!
Looks like you had a great time! Layla is so cute and looks very proud to be a girl scout. 🙂 I love Timmy's shirt…that is adorable! My husband is called a Charlie Brown head too.
