There was no school for Layla on Friday.
That worked out for me because Timmy had a Dr appointment in Dothan and I figured we would hang out for a while. I forgot that Layla haaaates going to Dothan. It’s “too far”. The whole 45 minute drive makes her insane and she would rather stay home with Revo to watch her than drive out there.
Since that wasn’t an option I shoved her out the door and we were off!
*getting her DSi ready for the long trip ;)*
Looking through my pictures now I really didn’t take many in Dothan. After the Dr we were all starving so since I had to drag Layla out there I let her choose. She chose McDonalds. Ugh. I even offered Chuck E Cheese (more room for Timmy to be wild and salad bar for me) but she insisted that she had to show me how big she is now (about time) that she can go down the slide and not climb to the top of the play structure and then SCREAM because she is too scared to climb back down or go into the dark tube slide.
Anywho, here was lunch. Nuggets, apples, and choco milk.
Timmy even had his first McD’s nugget. He loved it 😉
He loved everything about that place. The running kids, the slide that he would never go on, the crazy roll away high chair he was in…all of it.
Weeee!
Once Layla was done and running wild he had to get down too. There was really only one little part that he could go into but he played the heck out of that little part.
After lunch we went to Petsmart to look for a dog bed for Sadie. Something easy to wash and not a huge comforter like she’s using. Holy expensive store. Dunno what I was thinking I’d find but we had fun looking at all of the animals and toys while we were there.
Next was Old Navy where the kids and I got some sandals. Or I got sandals and they got 2 for $5 flops. I didn’t know if Timmy would wear them but if I was getting Layla a new pair why not get him some to match his new too big swim trunks.
THEN we went to Target where I found the dog bed I wanted cheaper than anywhere else (SHOCKING!) and I found these in the $1 section! It was like being in Hawaii all over again 🙂 🙂
I don’t want to eat them. Target is far away and I don’t know when I’ll get more 😛
After Target and after stopping to feed Melissa’s cats we came home and played out in the yard.
This is when I got all snap happy 🙂
Layla brought her bucket of dinos out to play with. She drives me NUTS. For 2 days she has been almost or fully in tears over Timmy NOT wanting to play with her. Or at least the game she wants to play. Then when we go outside and Timmy is ALL about playing with her dinosaurs she is freaking out that he is touching her toys and ruining her game. Oy. vey.
It’s a good thing brother’s are easily distracted
This LOOKS like the normal clinging to my leg crying scene but really it is the happy to see me coming toward him run up and hug my leg scene. I like this one much more than the other.
At least he kept one flop on
And back around to pick through L’s stuff
Here she is telling me something that I wasn’t paying attention to :/
Dinosaur Train?
Tasting the plastic rock
I think she is digging a golf ball out of a chipmunk hole here complaining about how her dad stuffed it in and is blocking this animals home! Because there aren’t 10 other holes all around that one that probably go to the same place.
Timmy just looks broken. It hurts my knees to see him sit like this
Playing in the jungle grass
“Layla get in a picture with your brother.”
Snot Dirt Grass
Then the meltdown started
ALL of that because he wanted to hold the Popsicle
But it was cold and then he didn’t want it
But like I said earlier…brothers are easily distracted
TF's hair is getting so long! He's starting to turn into a little boy me thinks, Ma!
