This morning I am enjoying not having to be anywhere before 2pm so I am trying to catch up on the past week.
Last weekend we took advantage of a day off together and headed to Everland. That will be a whole different post because there are a million pictures that aren’t even online yet. I skipped it and went on to my next batch of pictures…
I really wanted a picture of all of us together that included Timmy older than 10 months.
We asked one of the workers at Everland to snap a picture (or 20) and this is what we got.
It’s ok but Thomas has his creepy ‘Movember’ Mustache, we are all bundled up so you can’t even tell our clothes are coordinating, and its so zoomed out to get the lights in the trees (I’m thinking anyway)…I’m just not satisfied. I decided we needed something inside if it was going to meet my non-bundled standards.
I set up the big ugly tan chair that I stuffed into the sewing room to make way for the Christmas tree in front of one of my many unused packages of fabric from Happy Quilt that I taped to the wall.
Voila. ‘Photo studio’.
Now I needed to see how it worked…
The boy doesn’t wear pants…ignore that please.
And then someone got jealous.
I was also trying to use my big external flash…trying to figure it out before Christmas morning which is usually the only time of year I pull it out.
It looked decent enough so I got them dressed
Aaannnnd we’re OVER it.
And then not being still becomes a game
And then he was done.
So I grabbed Layla…who can. not. be. natural. She gave me the ‘school picture’ face
And then this one when I told her to open her eyes a little more and not be so squinty
Oy vey
Tilty head! Watch out Glamour Shots. I do like this one though 🙂
Ahh, suddenly pictures are fun again!
Or not.
I love all the pics!! The one of Layla tilting her head is so Beautiful!! Then the one of them both below it is also Beautiful!!! I sure have some photogenic Grandchildren!!! 🙂 Did you go to the box yet? lol
