So this post really has nothing to do with the library. We went to the library yesterday morning for story time and to check out some new bedtime books for Layla. On the way out I took a picture of a door.
Then this neat building. I like the little balcony.
And busy downtown Enterprise. Haha.
After the library guess where we went…
Lots of neat furniture but the junk wasnt as cheap as the one on Rucker Blvd.
And now because Im obsessed. First off, I put some seeds up on the wall for the bigger cardinals and whoever else wanted them. Meaning birds. Someone else thought differently.
Jerk.
Anywho, my goal for the back yard is BLUE BIRDS. I love them. LOVE them! They are so pretty. And shy. They wont come in my yard but they land on the fence and watch me in my house. And they fly through the trees and on my roof and land of the ground on the other side of the fence. Not IN our yard though.
We went to Lowes and got some new bird stuffs to hopefully attract them and something for the mockingbirds that I always see out there. Guess what happened? Nothing. Not thismorning anyway, but around lunch time the yard was packed! The only one I saw eating anything though was a squirrel, a chickadee, and a carolina wren (this one is new for me!) Even though they didnt eat I still had a bunch of baby blue birds landing in the yard and checking things out. Baby steps 🙂
Here’s my wren. At least I think it is.
Look at this big pretty one. ON the fence though. Not coming in.
Well Im glad someone likes what I put out…
I did get pictures of all the babies hangin out in the yard though but they are still on the camera.
All this bird stuff makes me giggle. I can’t help but think of going to the beach with you and Lisa and making Gillian chase all the birds away. The kid got so used to it, she still chases them in parking lots and tries to kill herself in the process.
That has to be the skinniest squirel I’ve ever seen.
haha I love all of the Squirrel pictures!!! They always crack me up!
dude that lady is holding up the bowevil i know i spelled that wrong..but its a bug.. a statue of a lady holding up a bug.. isnt that soo freakin funny?? get a better shot of it.. =) i need to see it better =) please~
I love bluebirds also. My mom used to build and check on bluebird boxes all over our town when I was growing up.
