Home and Preschool!

We made it home late-ish last night. Thankfully after some arguing about it Layla fell asleep in the car. She needed all the rest she could get because today she started preschool 🙂 Elizabeth has been going since we left so she was there to help Layla get settled into her new school routine. They saw each other for the first time in 2 weeks out in front of the school. Elizabeth was so sweet and brought a valentine card for Layla.

Layla was excited about seeing her friend and the card. E’ opened it for Layla.

We walked her in today since it was her first day. Once inside her teacher showed her where her cubby is and where her chair is. She soon forgot that T and I were even there so we made our escape to go grocery shopping with out a kid.

She had a great time and learned the importance of washing her hands. The kids each got a bar of soap to bring home and Layla showed me how to wash your hands the right way 🙂 There’s a lot of fun planned for next week and I can’t wait probably as much as L 😛

Also, since we are home I was able to load all 325 of my pictures (thought there would have been more for 2 weeks) to the puter and actually have photoshop to play with. There are LOTS of pics to go through still but here are a couple that made me happy 🙂

While in Cali one of my best friends made the hour and a half drive down to see me and Layla. I already mentioned that though didn’t I? Anyway, here we are.

And these flowers were in the backyard. I loved them.

And this one I was just waiting to get home to load and look at. I like it.

I had a great time with the kids in Cali. Between seeing friends and the warm weather I almost didn’t want to leave. It is good to be home though!
