Turkey Day

We put up the Christmas tree! We ate some too…but that wasn’t nearly as exciting.

Oh yeah, and it snowed. Definitely a sign that we needed to get Christmas up ASAP! Even though I had been sneaking bits in the house each day leading up to the day we could get the tree up.

Ok ok, so it is pretty to look at…but still. Bah humbuh. I hate cold.

It snowed a full week earlier than last year. FYI.

Anywho, on to the good stuff. Layla and I have been putting the tree up together for a couple of years now. We have a pretty good system going. This year we had to let Timmy in to help us too.

She finds the right colored branches (the job I hate to do) and Timmy hands them to me so I can stick them in the…trunk? Post? Whatever. The tree. Then she fluffs the bottom and I fluff the top. After I take pictures and get yelled at for not helping. Voila.

Timmy fluffed too.

Finally lights and our mish mash or ornaments that we have collected in the last 10 years we’ve been together. Happy happy Megan! Christmas is my faveorite.

Now that I’m posting this it is FINALLY December. Now time can slow the heck down a bit! Please.

I’m jealous that the southern half of Korea is getting more snow than we are! If it’s going to be cold, we may as well have snow to play in. Everything here just ices up and melts. So the playground is either slippery, or slippery and wet. Either way, my delicate little flowers cannot stand to play on it. SEND US YOUR SNOW. 🙂

    1. Ha! Don’t be too jealous. It turned to ice and sludge the afternoon. It snowed AGAIN that night and was gone by lunch. Just how I like it 🙂 Nice to look at but needs to be cleared out by the time I leave my house 😉

  2. What a pretty tree, and the kids helping is fantastic!! 🙂 Oh and that snow is Beautiful!!
