Bug Off!

So I mentioned that all good spring things don’t come alone. There are a lot of not so good things as well. Like the bugs. A few days ago I went out to fill the bird feeder and replace he lid that the squirrels had flung off to get in to the sunflower seeds. When I flipped the lid over it was covered in little slugs.

Then I realized they were ALL over the porch. Some were super small. Others maybe an inch and a half long. All going after the spilled bird seed.

Yuck. They were lovin the sunflower seeds

But they don’t love salt… 😉

Then there was this ‘big’ guy. He made it all the way up the table for a seed

Now lets move on. While I was filling the feeder I just happened to look down and this is what I saw

Some buggie lovin’. Ick.

Another one of those creepy…things. Yuck yuck yuck. At least they’re not Hawaii sized centipedes. Not sure I could handle that.

And what would a bug post be without the ‘mosquito hawk’? This one was chillin on the outside of the window. I know they’re not bad but they creep me out when they fly out of the sink when I try to wash something.
