I Love Homecomings!

I have never had a REAL homecoming. Both times Thomo has come home it has just been us meeting him at the airport. I have been to a few other army homecomings that were bigger and sweet but nothing compared to yesterday. I was lucky enough to be asked to join my friend and her kidlets to their Navy homecoming ceremony. It was AWESOME. One guy even came off of the boat and got right down on one knee and proposed to the chick who I guess was his girlfriend. SO freakin sweet!

First all there was lots of honking of boat horns. Poor ‘M’ was not a fan and Mr News Guy thought it was a good shot. Turns out he ended up on the news last night. Not sure if it was this shot or not though.

Then here comes Daddy! I love how they have the little red carpet to come down and get lei’d.

FINALLY complete again 🙂

And whoever says 6 month deployments are nothing and we shouldnt complain…you’re dumb. Gone is gone. Period. It still sucks.
