Where Have I Been?

Well, first of all I would like to mention that I had a nice long recap of my week typed out until I closed the darn window and lost it all. If it is saved on here somewhere I sure dont know where it is. So now you get the recap.

Steph and I went to Waikele and rode the trolly with the kids then I spent crazy money on Layla because she is too big for anything she owns.

I did my first portrait party on Saturday. That was busy and long but still lots of fun. Now I need to get off my butt and finish editing all of them. Yay.

Sunday was family day. Thomo, Layla, and I went to the zoo and Ala Moana mall with the Somers Clan. On the way out of the zoo we found www.scottsharick.com selling his prints at the Art On The Zoo Fence thing. I loved every one of them.

Then at Ala Moana we headed to Ritz and I got to play with the D300. I am totally inlove and even more intimidated by it. One day, when Im not cheap, I will own that sucker. And then I will cry because I am scared of it. There is so much more on that camera than on my “little” D80. Like FIFTY ONE focal points. Thats just insane.

This is the chimp as he was rocking back and forth right before he charged the window and scared the bejesus out of Cody. It was the funniest thing we’ve all seen in a long time.
