Recently I flipped through one of my grandma’s recipe books which made me remember having a box of another grandma’s recipe cards. I decided that the best thing for someone that hates spending time cooking and is too impatient for baking, that I need to spend 2021 going through and making whatever I can out of them.
I started today with the first recipe in the book that happened to sound good and I had everything on hand to make – Peanut Butter Bread.
Also, the next time your friend from high school that you haven’t talked to in 15 years invites you to a Pampered Chef party do yourself a favor and accept that invite. Then, get yourself this measuring cup. It’s great for peanut butter or yogurt or other sticky things.
Peanut Butter Bread:
1 3/4 c Flour
1/3 c Sugar
1tbs Baking Powder
1tsp Salt
1 c Peanut Butter
2 Eggs
Heat oven to 350*.
Mix dry ingredients in a bowl. Add in peanut and mix until crumbly.
Whisk eggs in a small bowl and add milk.
Add egg mixture to dry ingredients.
Mix until just combined. Spray a loaf pan with cooking spray or use ‘fat to grease pan’ as my grandma Mary instructs. Bake for 1 hour.
Serve with jam because PEANUT BUTTER AND JELLY.
Kid approved 🌟
I’m excited to see you get into more family recipes!
