It’s a good feeling to think of your life and everything in it and have a hard time finding something you’re not happy with. There’s a lot of smaller things I wish could go other ways but over all my life is pretty much perfect at this point. Today though I am most thankful for Thomas. Even though we have spent more Thanksgivings apart than together I know that because of him having to be away we will always have somewhere to live and a paycheck coming in. Which I guess is really a great big Thank You to the Army 🙂 Separation sucks but really, it’s not much compared to knowing that we are taken care of. Layla is a pretty big fan of Thomas too. You know he’s a good dad when she pretends to BE him when he isn’t here. She thinks he is the best thing since juice bags.
She carried around her little Rik all day pretending he could sniff bombs and made me call her Thomas half the time 🙂
