Last night was Layla’s preschool graduation. The kids stood up on stage and sang songs before receiving their diplomas from their teachers. It was a fun time and very cute!
Miss April brought Pres and Ash out to see Layla and Elizabeth graduate. Preston is awesome. He is So much like Layla and he calls TF “Baby Tummy!” At least that is what it sounds like to me 🙂
Of course Timmy had to wake up once everything was getting ready to start. He’s good at that.
Before the graduates came in we all said the pledge to the American flag, Christian flag, and the bible.
Here they come! The picture was blurry but T got it all on video
All of the 4 year old classes (who are mostly 5 now)
And they sang. Three super cute songs
All the boys in their shoes. I had never seen boys/men wear shoes like these before Alabama
After the songs it was diploma time. Each teacher handed them out to their students.
Such a big girl! If I’m this proud now just think of how it will be 12 years from now 🙂
Or maybe I’m just excited to not have to pay tuition anymore. Hooray for public schools! At least until TF is older.
Waiting with her class while the next class gets their diplomas. The boy next to her is Wes. He went to the last preschool with her too. He is my future son in law.
Finally they all marched back to class singing a cadence about going to Kindergarten. Cuuuute!
After the main ceremony there was the reception
There was lots of snacky foods and cake with about 3 inches of frosting. EG modeled that frosting for me 🙂
After we were done we headed out to T’s softball game where I was told I am not allowed to go anymore because I made them lose. Fine with me! No more fighting off random kids who want to touch the boy and washing all of the red dirt caked into Layla’s white sandals.
PS – Here is the link to the videos from last night… YouTube!
Oh I am so proud of her! She looks so beautiful! I love the video!!
Very cute! You must be so proud! Funny you say that about the shoes….I thought that is what all boys/men wear! Ha- we live in ATL so I guess it is a southern thing then.
Hello! I'm wondering what school your daughter goes to? Before we homeschooled, my kids all went to a small private school where they said those 3 pledges as well:) Love your blog! My daughter and I are trying to learn more about photography, so I'm sure we'll be doing lots of reading here! Thanks for stopping by Lily's blog:)
