The Trip – Part One

I dont remember if I already told yall everything we have been up to. I want to say we have. I would go into plenty more detail about it but this internet is getting slower and slower by the minute.

Just a quick update… We made it to Alabama on Saturday night. We have been in the Guest House on Rucker since then. Its ok…but I am soooo ready to get into our house and get our stuff. With that said, we are in the process of buying a house. Its a 3 bedroom, 2 bath house in a really pretty neighborhood in walking distance of the elementary school. I love it! Not that anything is really far from anything in this town but its also pretty close to a really big park. It has a big pond, large walking path, and a huge playground. For sure somewhere we will be checking out often!

Yesterday Thomas went to check out the golf course on post and play so Layla and I decided to explore on our own. So far we have just been around Enterprise and to Dothan once just to have lunch at Olive Garden then back here. Layla and I went out through Ozark and down to Dothan on our way to Old Navy but got distracted once in town by Target. Hooray for living near a Target again! Its about 30 minutes away but thats ok with me. It is though, the only starbucks around.

Speaking of no Starbucks here in Enterprise there is a drive through Dakota Coffee near the new house. Its just not the same though 😛 Today we ordered what sounded like a frap and it was more of a milk shake…not complaining about that but still…just more to get used to. We also will be living near a Piggly Wiggly. Never saw one of those before being here lol.

Also since being here we have been to Waffle House and Sonic. It is WONDERFUL being back in “America” even though I am still missing Hawaii like crazy. This weekend though we have nothing to do and are thinking of all the places we could drive to see.

Ok, thats enough for now. Hopefully by the end of next week we will be able to get in our new house and get internet up soon after that isnt too slow. For now Im just going to post a link to all the pictures from our AZ and Cali trips.
