My mind is going in a billion different directions and Ive been avoiding the blog because I cant seem to bring all of my thoughts together to post anything worth while. So I’m just posting anyway.
*We’ve been sick. Or full of allergies. Not totally sure which but we all feel gross. Timmy has double ear infections again as of last week but has been on his meds since Wednesday night for that. I’ve been living on coffee and Zyrtec. Layla seems to be better than us with just a little runny nose. TF’s recheck is next week. They’re also supposed to be figuring out about the whole Serratia nonsense that I’ve been talking about for a year and a half now and no one knows what it is. Finally I got someone to talk to the lab (hopefully) so we can have him tested/treated for it.
*We turned in our paperwork to go to Korea a week ago. Now it’s a waiting game to see when the Army decides if we are worthy or not.
*I just realized a couple days ago that the new random people on The Talk are not just fill ins…Leah and Holly are NOT coming back. WTH people. Leah was THE reason I watch that show. No one wants to watch Julie Chen. If that’s even her name. I do like Molly Shannon though. She talks with her arms…not just her hands but her whole upper body. Like acts out each word with not actually sign language signs. I’m waiting for her to accidentally slap someone when she flails around.
*I don’t have a single picture of Timmy framed and hanging on any wall in the house. The family pictures we have hanging up are from 2008.
*I need to fix that.
*I am pretty much obsessed with my new Swiffer Vac. I vacuum with it multiple times a day. LOVE.
*Kassie and I didn’t go to the gym today. It was a weight lifting day. Booo on us. We will make up for it tomorrow. Yay for us.
*Layla’s other bottom tooth is pretty wiggly. Her 2 big bottom teeth are growing in. We got the first baby tooth out and made room for the new one but now we need to get that other one out to make more room.
*Today I bought 5 cans of pumpkin and have no real plans for it. Except that awesome cake I made a while back. I need to do that again. WITH the glaze.
*The weather is SO nice this week. The kids were out in the jeep and it reminded me of the time I went to the golf course with Thomas when we were in highschool and he turned sharp and threw me out of the golf course. I did flips.
*Layla got that jeep when she turned 2. Now Timmy wants to drive it. Yet another thing I should have bought in a neutral color if I would have thought at ALL that there would ever be another kid…especially a boy.
*And finally, on Saturday I went on post to get gas before driving to Dothan. While I was pumping I swear on my kids lives that I saw Jimmy Buffet. Or at least his twin coming out of the building and getting into an Escalade with Florida plates. And it took me until today to remember it.
You take such awesome pics! But then your kids are very awesome to take pictures of!! Layla’s hair is getting long again! I love and miss you all!!
