Cabin Fever

Just a quick update…

I know I havent been trapped in the house all week but I feel like I have.

Timmy got the stomach bug on Sunday and Layla came home Wednesday from school with it. Hes better but she’s still going strong which means she missed her Valentine/100 day of school party today.

Lots of hanging out at home the past few days trying to keep fluids in everyone

Lots of Clorox wipes. Tons of hand washing. And bleach.

Timmy did get a hair cut in there too. And he didnt scream when I did it.

Ive been sleeping on the couch for the last 2 nights mostly to be closer to Layla whos room is on the other side of the house and keep away from Thomo’s germs…but also because its one million times more comfy than the air mattress we are using in the bedroom. I slept SO GOOD on that couch between vomity wake up calls. I’m going to stay there as long as I can get away with!

Did you know Bob isn’t even 1 yet? He’s huge.

And he stole my glasses. I figured since Ive been on the couch that I would keep him inside where its warm instead of his little room outside where he sleeps. Some times during the night he knocked my glasses off the table and pushed them under the couch. Ask me how fun it is at 230 am helping a puking kid when youre blind. And then your head hurts because you’re straining to see now that you actually have glasses with a current rx and your eyes know what it’s like to REALLY see again. No good.

Anyway. Thomas found them when he got up. I swear I looked under the couch. Looking for something when you cant see isnt so easy though.

Random…but Timmy loves his cars. It helps that we have watched Cars 1 and 2 about a billion times in the last week. Sometimes I alternate…sometimes I just hit play again and start one over.

Thats it from me. Both kids are napping and Im going stir crazy. And its going to be like 8* this weekend. Bleck. Hopefully everyone is better and we can find a nice warm INSIDE thing to do with no sickies.
