Well, we did end up having some damage from Fay and Im kicking myself for JUST NOW finding it. Who knows when it happened but it was for sure before the rain stopped. I opened the guest room door to toss something on the bed and noticed it smelled REALLY bad and musty so I flipped the light on and found this.
OY! It shot like a torpedo right through the roof and landed in the T Mobile bag. If someone were laying there they would have been really hurt. Now that scares me since Layla and I both have beds under the trees too. All this now when Gustav should hit soon too. I want to be back in Hawaii!
On a brighter note…look what came home with us today. REVO! He and Sadie are doing awesome together. She was playing a bit hard a couple times but listened to me when I told her easy. Now she could care less…like he’s been here forever. He’s too stinkin cute but boy is he a puppy!
Look at those feet and ears. Eek! Pretty soon I’ll have to remind HIM to be easy with Sadie 😛
Sadie smiling for the camera with little brother coming in from behind 🙂
It was a long drive home. From Trussville to Montgomery where we made a bathroom/Starbucks stop he went into his kennel next to Sadie in the back and did great the rest of the way. He cried a few times but over all I was impressed. Lets hope he keeps that up tonight!
So now Im going to go take more detailed pictures of the water damage on the bed and things and hopefully nothing alive is in there waiting for me 🙁
OMG Megan! I’m so sorry about the roof. Revo on the other hand is adorable. Hope you’re able to get the roof fixed before you get more rain…and I really hope that you have better luck with the next storm. I’ll be thinking about you guys!
Eeeeeek! Stay safe! And REVO is soooo awesome!!!
eeek how scary!! I’m so glad no one got hurt!! yeah maybe after the storms are over its time to trim those scary trees back!!! Revo is sooo cute!! I miss having a dog around the house!! maybe someday again.
