January 15, 2017. This is Cloudy. He eats a ton and picks on the other fish. Im thinking we will need a larger fish tank soon if he keeps it up.

January 12, 2017. Full moon tonight. I was on my way out the door to derby practice and had to run back in for the camera while the moon was still low behind the trees. It may not be the biggest, most detailed moon shot I’ve taken but I love the trees in this picture.

January 11, 2017. Derby has started up again. I’ve got a really good feeling about this season. Hopefully we will be closer and stronger and better than ever before. Can’t wait to see what we can do.

January 10, 2017. Layla has been really into drawing cats for a while now and has become pretty good at it! She’s also does school art club. Today they painted little canvas boards. She said paint is a lot harder to work with than pencils but I think she did a great job!

January 9, 2017. Monday. Back to school means waking up early. Early enough for the car to look like this.. I know I shouldn’t complain when so many are covered in snow and because we will be back in the 70s this week…but today. Today was cold for us southerners.
