January 11, 2017. Derby has started up again. I’ve got a really good feeling about this season. Hopefully we will be closer and stronger and better than ever before. Can’t wait to see what we can do.

January 10.
January 10, 2017. Layla has been really into drawing cats for a while now and has become pretty good at it! She’s also does school art club. Today they painted little canvas boards. She said paint is a lot harder to work with than pencils but I think she did a great job!
January 9.
January 9, 2017. Monday. Back to school means waking up early. Early enough for the car to look like this.. I know I shouldn’t complain when so many are covered in snow and because we will be back in the 70s this week…but today. Today was cold for us southerners.

January 8, 2017. I was walking through the house this evening and glanced out the back window. The sky was the prettiest pink sunset Ive seen in a long time! I grabbed the camera and snapped a few pictures through all of the trees. I thought about going to find a better view…but it’s REALLY

January 7, 2017. Today was so much fun! We all got dressed up, went out to Dothan, and watched our sister from another mister get married. It was a fun ceremony and reception followed by a big dinner out with our Alabama Family. But of course, I didn’t take my camera. And since I promised

January 6, 2017. Happy Birthday, Mom! After spending our winter break in the 60s-70s, today we are back to school and back to winter (for a few days anyway.) It was in the 40’s today and rainy and the temps are going to keep dropping through the weekend.
