Sunday.
730 – Layla has me up coloring. When she was in bed last night she told me to color a page and I said I would…and then forgot. No backing out of this one.
750 – Coffee is ready. Making the ’rounds’ while I wake up fully. Email, Facebook, Blogger, Twitter, Myspace. Layla keeps on coloring.
800 – Breaky time. Dogs first. Rik gets his food ground up with water.
830 – After breakfast is workout time. Today is Level 2 shred. I alternate days with the 30 Day Shred and Cardio Max. Level 1, Cardio Max, Level 2, Cardio Max…then rest on Day 7
1015 – While getting dressed I decided I would try to take Layla to a movie today> It’s the weekend and the only time you can see a movie before 7pm without driving to see it. Ice Age 3 is out in 3D so I put in Ice Age 1 for Layla to watch.
1130 – I go outside with boys for a bit to clean off porch while Layla plays tee ball in the front yard. Rik has no time for Revo and his wildness.
130 – We had lunch then got ready to leave for the movie theater. Layla took some headphones to wear to make it not as loud. She ended up taking them off halfway through though. And she had to make sure to take Elizabeth’s cup back to her.
400 – The movie is done and Layla is super sad because her friends that met us there were leaving. She really wanted to play so Melissa tossed her car seat in the back of the van with the older girls and took her with them.
430 – I came home to let the dogs out and start loading pictures from the day so far. Then I fed the dogs and headed out to collect my kid.
600 – Home with Layla and eating dinner. Quesadillas and Soup.
700 – Layla is taking a bubble bath with her bucket of toys
730 – Layla and I sit down on the couch so she can read another one of her Level 1 reader books. Tonight she picked the Dora Snow Princess book. It was hard for her because she kind of remembers the story and thinks she knows how to read it all but isn’t actually reading it. She didn’t want to slow down to read each word as it really is.
Now it is 840. Layla is in bed and I going to enjoy some non cartoon tv time.
fun idea! i may have to give this one a try. of course, 3 of my days will be spent at work. blech!
🙂 Loved it…Looks like you two had a fun day.
love your day one! and ice age sounds like fun….i've thought about taking the kids to see it, too.
