Star Kids Cafe – Pyeongtaek

Kids Cafes here are pretty neat. This is the first time I’ve been to one. There is another one called Little Bear that a lot of people go to but I haven’t made it there yet.  For 6,000w per kid (4,000 for adults) you get 2 hours of play time and a drink (coffee/tea/juice boxes…) There is also a menu to order food from.

Lobby.

You pay here on your way out. At the end of your time they give you a restaurant type check that you take up to the cashier.

There are a lot of little themed rooms to play in through the place. Totally cute.

Cars.

Stuffed animals.

A super cute little fishing hole. Timmy was rockin this one!

There is a seating area with floor tables for you to park your stuff at and have food/drinks

Menus on the tables

Their iced tea was awesome. Like sweet tea…but lemony. Like a lemon head candy almost….but liquid.

Lots to do!

There are even cameras and a tv on the wall so you can sit and eat/drink and still sort of keep track of your kids.

There is the smaller climby thing near the tables and a larger one around the corner.

With a mini trampoline 🙂

There is a grocery store section

Train table.

Around the corner there are more little cubby areas!

The girl cubby.

The ‘house’ cubby.

The music cubby.

Wall of books.

And a dress up room.

This place is fantastic. This whole idea is fantastic! Why has it taken me a YEAR to actually get to one!?

Who knows. But we will go back. For sure.

Someone asked me for a phone number to plug into a GPS but I didn’t know it at the time. Now I see there is a number on the bottom of the menu…so if you have a GPS (which I don’t) then try using:

031-651-0032

If not…bear with me. I tried to make it make sense to me. So hopefully it does to everyone else.

Getting there from Humphreys:

Come straight out of the main gate and drive until road T’s.

Turn left.

Go straight/leftish through the intersection onto 45.

When you come to the light that T’s around Pyeongtaek turn Right.

Cross the bridge over the train tracks, passing Lotte Invens apartments on your left. This road has a wall/guard rail down the middle…as soon as it ends take a Left at that light.

According to Google it’s at the 4th big intersection after that.

It’s just passed the light. There is a tiny parking lot in a U of buildings. Star Kids is on the 2nd floor of the building on the left.

I hope those directions are helpful. I can’t wait to go back. Or maybe next time I’ll look for Little Bear. Or any other awesome kids cafe I can get to. PERFECT way to burn off toddler energy when it’s so stupid cold outside!
