For real this time. I noticed that last week I posted a week 9 and had it up for a while before realizing it was only week 8. oops. Anyway….

Week 9.
I love my lip ring. The first time it was pierced it was in the middle and my best friend did it with a thick needle the summer before 9th grade. I took it out and later did the right side myself with a big safety pin. Well I took THAT out too. While in Hawaii a few months after having Layla I decided it was me and I needed it back so I busted out the jumbo safety pin and have had it for almost 4 years now. Sometimes I forget it’s there and wonder if I will ever ‘out grow’ it. I don’t even think of it being different at all…it’s just like having my ears pierced!

I like it! Some people look so natural with piercings, like they were meant to be. I don’t think I could pull it off. And I definitely don’t think I could do it myself. I think I’d cry and quit as soon as it started hurting.
