Earl’s Thrift Shop in Enterprise = Best Store Ever

The other day Melissa and I decided to drive around and go “junking”. We like junk. We had previously passed a couple thrift stores that we hadn’t been in and decided to go check them out. One of them was Earl’s Thrift Shop. We nearly passed it too. It’s not the biggest place.

After pulling into the lot Melissa didn’t seem too impressed but lights were on so we decided to give it a try. And boy are we glad we did! Like the sign said it was packed full of antiques, furniture, and collectibles 🙂

This wasn’t one of the girls favorite stores. No toys and a whole lot of “Hands to yourself! NO touchy!”

I fell in love with the furniture there. And it’s not over expensive either! Like this bench with storage in the seat for $45.

And this was only $150 I think? I tried not to pay attention to prices on things I have no room in my house for.

There was SO MUCH little junk there. I wanted it all. I don’t know where I would put it but my inner pack rat needed it.

And the color coordinated glass was all so pretty. Even had some jadite things for you PW readers 😉

Melissa found a hutch she needed so I got a picture of her next to it so her husband could see how big it is.

I have to go back. There was so much stuff everywhere I felt that I didn’t get to see it all. Do you think he’d mind if I came to just hang out with his stuff?

I love this store. Fun, cheap, junk. GOOD junk. I’m going to have to restrain myself though before I end up on Oprah or TLC in an episode about obsessive hoarding. Thanks mom and dad for the ‘collecting’ gene…anyway…

If YOU want to explore Earl’s on your own he is located here:

Just don’t think about buying my bench.

i DO love that white hutch thought too !!!! that bench would ROCK in a big open field for a photo opt 😉 PLUS storage for your hoarding issues … lol 😉

  2. Wow!! Outward appearance can definitely be deceiving. Who would’ve thought it would be so crammed packed with goodies. I’m not too far from Enterprise, so I’ll have to come over and check it out soon. I LOVE that white bookshelf thingie (for lack of a better word?)

please tell me you got that bench???? I want one of those for my front room so bad….if you look at my blog…..I want it to go under the mirror…so I can keep kids shoes and book bags and such there, I’d have to move the chair and table to somewhere else…but oh how I want a bench!

That place looked awesome…too bad I’m so far away…..or I’d come check it out in person 🙂

  4. TOTALLY loving that white hutch…have nowhere to put it, but love it nonetheless!

I love LOVE that bench! Oh how I wish I lived closer. I had one like that and in my move to Hawaii-it didn’t fair well. 🙁 I finally could no longer fix it so to the trash it went.

  6. I need to go check that place out, I already see some vases I like from your pictures lol. Umm maybe today after Henry’s nap….
