I have been slacking a lot this past week. Nothing spectacular has happened and I just haven’t been in the mood to take a ton of pictures. I did take my camera to Melissa’s to watch/help her recover her chairs. When I loaded the pictures to the computer I found this one too. She has skill.
Anywho, Melissa’s chairs were covered in Walmart quality microfiber stuff and she was over cleaning them. So we recovered them in plastic 🙂
She inspired me to recover my Target quality microfiber stools. I used the same fabric I got for the big window. Not sure though how I feel. I still only have 1 done.
Also…guess what we got!? A table and chair for Layla! FINALLY. I paid $30 for both at Highlands Antique mall on 84 right before Dothan. It is the same place Thomas got my rocking chair 🙂

I like the way the stool turned out! I've had plans to recover my dining room table chairs since we moved into this house. They've been sat on like twice??? I just don't like the print on them at all. Too old ladyish or something. I was gonna wait until we got to Kentucky and I could find cuter fabric than we have here. Unless I want Hawaiian dining room chairs!
