I feel like we’ve been really busy…and yet we are very boring.
When did I even blog last? Ok, it’s only been a week. Let’s do a quick update…
Timmy was sick for a couple days. Fever, puke, hella grumpy. He’s good now though. Except he still doesn’t want to eat anything but Gogurt, Buddy Fruit apple sauce pouches, and cookies. The fireworks last night woke him up and I did get half a piece of pizza in him at 930pm. With pepperoni. Totally healthy.
I’ve been gyming a lot. I started Week 5/Phase 2 of Live Fit but then Timmy got sick and then it was a holiday and I’ve missed pretty much this whole week. I’ll start it again next week.
Fridays we head to the post library for their summer reading program. Each week they read stories and do a craft. At home Layla has a reading log to fill out. They got tshirts and a whole bag of goodies and also prizes every time they fill a reading log. So far (all 2 weeks we’ve been…) it has been super fun and something to do during the summer.
Wednesdays is Camp Humphreys Spouses Bowling League day. I know. Roller derby and bowling league. I’m awesome. Anywho, every Wednesday I bowl with the league and kids that come bowl free. Layla has a couple friends that come also. Hooray for indoor air conditioned free stuff to do in the summer with our friends!
I think that’s it for our weekly stuffs.

Yesterday I ran in the Firecracker 5K on post. FINALLY. Ive been doing the Couch to 5K program off and on since Timmy was 6 months old. I always get to the end then quit because running is dumb. Finally I signed up for a race and finished it. Now I never have to do it again 😉 And I ran the whole way. Totally awesome.
Starting…
T has pictures of my coming in to finish on his phone but he’s off riding bikes and I doubt he’s able to send them now…so whatever. I crossed it. I ran the whole way. My official time was 31:25. And I wanted to puke when I was done.
After we were home I got all ‘crafty’ and wanted to do something Pinteresty. I dug through T’s pile of ‘I’m never going to wear again’ shirts and found one to chop up.
THIS is the post I wanted to try out.
Step 1. Chug some iced coffee and find an old tshirt.
Step 2. Find instructions on your phone.
Step 3. Cut off neck and arms.
Step 4. Make neck and arm holes bigger
Step 5. Cut a strip out of your extra cut off bits. Pull it tight so it curls up.
Step 6. Gather the back of the shirt and tie your strip onto the top, wrap around, then tie again at the bottom.
Step 7. Try it on, then take it off to cut/trim any parts that are fitting awkward. And voila!

Korea is the land of spiders. Seriously there are so many. Big fat ones, tiny green ones, little brown ones like in Alabama…they are everywhere. I like the ones that live on our porch. Fun to watch them catch things and eat them. Layla and Timmy are big fans of watching them too.
Do you see him?
I am so proud of you “running” the whole race!!! You ROCK!! I love the shirt I am going to try it!! The spider is creepy!! I know me I would kill it!! lol
