We had some lazy days last week. Just a couple of them.
Starting Wednesday though I became a full time volunteering mom. I’m helping out with a friend’s seasonal consignment sale (Yall from the south know what Im talking about)
She is paying me in childcare. How can I say no? I will gladly work with you full time for a week if you have someone to watch my kids 😉
And it’s been FUN! For a second made me think about working again. Until I came home to mountains of laundry and realized kids were living on corn dogs and nuggets…
I dont have those full time working mom skills.
Also, it’s not really a job. It’s like when I was a flower delivery girl with my best friend in high school for her mom’s flower shop. Drive around with your friend all day. Fun. Not work.
Anywho,
On another note…next week is our second roller derby bout. I’m excited and scared. I really hate having to skate fast. I suck at it.
Oh, I’ve started my book challenge with The Friday Night Knitting Club. I’m having a hard time getting into it. It’s a good enough story so far and Im anxious to see where it goes but it’s a REAL book and Im getting frustrated that I cant make the font bigger on it. Spoiled by the Nook…
Hopefully I can get it knocked out soon and keep going with my list.

Not at all…if anything he got the opposite of our thumbs. They bend crazy backwards and always look broken. So gross.
