The Great Closet Cleanout: T-Shirts

Day Two of the Great Closet Cleanout. Today I went through my t-shirt drawer. I thought this would be harder than it actually was. I was able to weed through them pretty quickly.

#1 –  The Keepers: My most worn most comfy shirts.

First my favorites were easy to pull out. My Korean Tees…

My Soft Kitty tee…

The big yellow tee…this started as a derby shirt. Just a yellow practice shirt. It’s thin and so comfy. Until I got a mystery black STAIN between the boobs. Dang it.

Which transitions us into the derby shirt collection….

#2 – The Randoms:  The rest of my tshirts look like I raided a 12 year olds closet :/ Oy. I was able to ditch half of these without feeling too bad.

and the Cut Ups…

So comfy. The FAIR shirt I’ve had since highschool when I volunteered with one of those PetsMart animal adoption groups. I cut it and took it in to fit me. The others have just been cut to have less sleeve and a wider neck.

And the layering tees…a few random solid color tees that can stick around.

#3 – The Non-Tees:  I had a few other random tops in my drawer that aren’t just regular tshirts. My favorite is this gauzy shirt. It’s more cream than white like it looks. So comfy. But not when it’s SO hot outside.

The bad ideas…I bought all of these hoping I’d be going for something different. None of them fit nicely and never really get worn.

This shirt is a small but it’s baggy. It was another Goodwill Target Castoff. The neck hole was always REALLY baggy and weird on. I am keeping it around though. Maybe it will fit me now post surgery.

Finally this flowy weird nothing I’d every buy normally shirt. I was looking for something green that would match a black bottom that was cheap. I grabbed this and ended up not wearing it for what I needed it for. I still havent worn it other than trying it on and thinking it’s so not me.

And that’s it for t-shirts. Wow…I have no clothes. I did manage to toss out a few old shirts and kept any that I genuinely thought I would wear. Not too exciting. The bottoms cleanout will be even shorter. This mamma needs to start shopping for herself I thinks.
