Hey y’all! I read a book…and FINISHED it! And it wasn’t (that I know of) made into a movie. After I got my Kindle for Christmas I went searching for book that I’ve heard about and wanted to read. I ended up finding What a Mother Knows on special for $2.99 (I think.) so I thought I’d try it.
It turned out to be a pretty decent book! It was a quick, easy read which is good for me and my short attention span when it comes to books. It was easy to get into which is also another plus. There was some drama and mystery, a dead rock star and a missing daughter (who by the way is not a little girl so the cover of the book kinda threw me off). The characters all kept me on my toes though…just when you think you know what’s going on something or someone changes things up.
Looking at the Amazon price now I’m glad I got it when I did. Not sure I’d want to pay full price for it but on sale it was well worth the read.
Now, moving on… I just started reading The Fault in Our Stars which I found on the 14 Books To Read Before They Hit The Big Screen list. It’s only$3.99! I’ll take it. So far I’ve only read the first chapter but from what I’ve read about the book it seems to have a Walk to Remember feel. We’ll see if I’m right about that.
