Thrifty Thursday!

Hey y’all! Thrifty Thursday is back and I’m so happy that I was actually able to go out and junk shop this week after being stuck inside last week. What made it even better was we ditched the kids and shopped all by ourselves. Just grown ups. We spent lots of time in the breakable junk section. So great! It was a good day.

I think I got a lot of fun stuff…starting with that flower pot! Now I need another plant.

And speaking of plants…look what else I found!

I found something else today that is equal parts exciting and frustrating…

A new large stone bar pan from Pampered Chef.

AWESOME because it was $5! Frustrating because while in Korea I paid a million dollars for one from the catalog and it didn’t fit in my tiny Korean easy bake oven. Finally, after 2 years, I have it here with my huge American oven and have used it maybe 2-3 times this last week….and now I have another one. For $5. Gah!

On another note…I got this neat little mail holder for my desk. .50 cents.

Now, onto some clothes. I’ve been giving T a lot of grief about his crazy tshirt hoarding…but now I think I’m catching up.

Technically, I only got 2. Unless I can make him fit into the black one. The red one is for L and the other 2 are tanks. Not tees. Totally different.

Also, the pink one on the front says Gold’s Gym Enterprise, AL. Nice.

Pants. Layla got some cute purple pj pants and I got some more gouchos! I am in loooove with my ‘mom pants’. I try to only wear them around the house…but you know…sometimes that doesn’t happen. They’re like my new yoga pants except I’ve had my other pair since L was a baby. Eep! Well now I have 2.

Not sure about this one. It’s that awkward is it a shirt or a dress length. I think it will work with leggings? Maybe shorts? It might be too long for shorts. I don’t know.

 THIS dress is Calvin Klein and feels newsish. It’s very stiff and I’m not sure it will fit me. But it was $1! So I’ll give it a go.

Ok, now for the BEST part. Since I’ve started back thrifting here in Alabama I’ve been drooling over these turquoise boots behind a glass counter. Every week I say I’ll try them on next week. Either lines are too long or I don’t have socks and its creepy or something else keeps me from it. Well, like I said we were kid free today. Today was the day! And you know what? They were exactly my size. And they match my purse. I bought them!

Pretty darn excited.
